Started off strong but everyone is over-powered and it just isn't fun to follow any more. Check out the manga but avoid the anime at all costs!

The anime is mostly not based on the manga but is instead anime canon (I don't know why?). Update: I have been reading the Boruto manga for a while now and it is good.

all boring to watch with no real cost to their outcome and kids who aren't even genin yet beat jounin level shinobi constantly.Īs someone who's watched Naruto and Naruto Shipudden, I have to say I'm disappointed. As the main character, 80% of his identity is the fact that he "hates" his dad, Naruto. It feels like the story is just bumbling on and skipping any of the episodes will have resulted in me missing nothing.īoruto (the character) is the worst part of it all. The animation is atrocious half of the time and there is zero plot development. I can't believe that it took me 31 episodes before I finally accepted how awful it is.īoruto tries to capitalise on Naruto nostalgia but has nothing going for it. New friends and familiar faces join Boruto as a new story begins.īoruto is a trainwreck. However, a sinister force brewing within the village may threaten Boruto's carefree life. Unfortunately, this has only worsened his arrogance and his desire to surpass Naruto which, along with his father's busy lifestyle, has strained their relationship. Despite having inherited Naruto's boisterous and stubborn demeanor, Boruto is considered a prodigy and is able to unleash his potential with the help of supportive friends and family. Under the watchful eye of Naruto and his old comrades, a new generation of shinobi has stepped up to learn the ways of the ninja.īoruto Uzumaki is often the center of attention as the son of the Seventh Hokage. Now resembling a modern metropolis, Konohagakure has changed, particularly the life of a shinobi. This is all due to the efforts of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the village's Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement.
